I like to think of this as a Scrabble dictionary even though it can be converted for use with other games. This app uses the device keyboard. An unplayable word sometimes appears. I like the coloration and graphics. Very useful, best used on wifi but can be used offline minus the dictionary. Occasionally, this app will freeze up and needs to be force stopped to start afresh.

I don't like the changed appearance in the 3 Aug 26 update. Please don't make the same change to Scrabble Checker within the Word Checker App. I can't find a way to clear the found word list before entering the next search or at the end of App use. A 'clear screen' option would be handy. This App would be more useful if it displayed front and back hooks. So far I haven't found a way to display these.

The new UI in version 5.0 has promise but it needs tweaking a bit as in this version, as IMHO, it's a step backwards for now - it's driving me mad the way the input box moves up and down as the on screen keyboard comes and goes, and that everything is so much smaller - it's much harder to hit the *, ? and the arrow button now as they are small and close to each other.

- Pick your dictionary the first time you open the app, so searches never start in the wrong language
- The dictionary you were using in the previous version now carries over when you update
- New installs, and updates from the older version, start with the search bar at the top
